Eagle Square Capital is a Kinde & Co portfolio company and was founded by Jakob Kinde on the traditional British merchant banking model and has a team in their offices in London and San Francisco. The Jacobson Kinde family has been a financial and industrial family from Gothenburg since the middle of the 19th century. The family has been the founder and owner of several companies which include Göteborgs Inktecknings och Garanti AB, AB Jakobsdals Kamgarnspinneri, Bankirfirman Thenberg & Kinde AB, AB Kinde & Co., AB Varuhuset Linopeters, Färgeriaktiebolaget Levanten, a number of real estate companies including Fastighetsaktiebolaget Partillo and Fastighets- AB Domkvarteret in Gothenburg and AB Skotten in Stockholm, Kindes Båtvarv AB, Aktiebolaget Carl Alms Skomanufaktur, Matfors Yllefabrik AB, Bohus Läderfabrik AB, Forshaga Linoleumsfabrik AB (today Forbo-Forshaga) and others. 

Through various branches of the family, they are also associated with AB Werner & Carlström (subsidiary company AB Göteborgs Kamgarnspinneri and others), AB Calvert & Co., Bröderna Wennerbergs trading firm, and Albert Fränkel & Co AB and others. AB Jakobsdals Kamgarnspinneri together with AB Werner & Carlström and its subsidiaries AB Göteborgs Kamgarnspinneri and AB Lana Kamgarnspinneri controlled almost 100% of the Swedish worsted yarn market and founded the Swedish modern wool industry for many years.
